Naama Freedman is a Hamburg based Israeli artist, musician, performer, and DJ. Born in Tel Aviv, she was trained both as a classical and jazz pianist and singer, and later studied classical composition and bass guitar. She was furthermore trained as a dancer in tap, ballet, and jazz.
Naama has a bachelor's degree in philosophy and history from Tel Aviv University and a diploma in theater at Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts. She performs as an actress and singer in stage productions in Germany and Israel, ranging from musicals to orchestral concerts, as well as experimental performance art pieces.
Naama works as a visual artist using video, installation, and performance, and has exhibited in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Brazil. She has collaborated on various musical projects ranging from folk to electronic music, and is a member of the Hamburg based DJ collective Isle of Wax.
She currently studies multimedia composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.
